Stayed overnight in Richmond on Friday, Met friends Jay & Mickey and Lakelyn and Keaton Woodcook on Saturday morning in the fair parking lot.
The fair is right next to King's Dominion amusement park.
Lisa was happy to see the barn where Secretariat was born. We saw a good cowboy show featuring horse tricks, bullwhip stunts and knife-throwing.
Nice old tractor and engine display. Interesting rope-making demo that Lakelyn got to participate in.
Not much in the way of horse shows, but lots of horse barns to walk through. |
