We had gone to Columbus, OH to visit the dear friends (and the Godparents of our daughters) so we all went to the fair together. It was a hot day, so we went in one of the air conditioned buildings to watch a free concert with Raven Simone and Lil BowWow. The kids enjoyed a couple rides at the midway. They had several zoo animals, including a zebra, kangaroo and lemurs. We spent a few days with the Jones. Went to Cedar Falls state park the next day and found a Geocache, and swam in the pool at the base of the falls. That year Caity flew down to NC and spent a week with us in July.
