Went with our neice Erin the day before a customer vist for work. This was the last day of this fair. It was also the 75th anniversary of this fair. NJ has two 'state fairs'. This one, also called the Sussex County Fair, is the agricultural fair. There is a more midway-oriented fair earlier in the summer at the Meadowlands. This was the smallest fair so far in our diary, and almost empty at 10 in the morning. More crowded toward the end but we left at 3pm. Saw most all types of animals, and was pleasantly surprised by the activity in the horse arena for the last day. Got to see horse jumping competition and trick show by Tommy Turvey (the animal trainer for The Walking Dead and other stuff).
